Southbank Centre
FCBS were commissioned with a redefining the iconic Southbank Centre, by finding space for much needed additional recital and practice space as well as reconsidering the entrance, arrival and procession. The project had large elements of renovation and preservation too.
Although this phase of the project was too controversial to survive in the political climate it found itself in. A subsequent and more modest scheme was developed. This new scheme is approaching completion in 2017 and was delivered on the basis of the BIM models developed for the earlier scheme orchestrated and supported by Deploi.

The Approach
Due to the immense complexity of tracking the levels and spaces as well as managing the existing construction the use of BIM was determined. Deploi trained the team and used the Deploi developed FCBS Revit template and guide to launch the project. Deploi supported the team for many months with on the job coaching, complex modelling, advice and trouble shooting.
