The Approach
Deploi trained the team members in the use of Revit and assisted in the commissioning of a detailed survey model produced using point cloud technology by accomplished surveyors Maltby. Deploi produced the BIM Execution Plan for the project. Using the Deploi FCBS template the project was converted and developed to capture the design intent and for the production of all drawing deliverables.
Project challenges were primarily associated with the detail of the existing fabric and in particular documenting discrete parts for demolition. However the use of the Revit model and its adaptation to capture proposed design intent enabled the team to achieve their deadlines under an accelerated drawing progamme.
